Why I Also Interpret CRM as Control and Restrict Management

Why I Also Interpret CRM as Control and Restrict Management

📊 Officially, the true meaning of CRM is Customer Relationship Management.

🤝 CRM, as Customer Relationship Management, is a system and strategy to help companies to:

* Know customers.
* Manage the best customer relationships.
* Provide customer support.
* Manage work across sales, marketing, and other departments.

My explanation of CRM as Customer Relationship Management can be read on my Business Blog – GWB:

So why do I also interpret CRM as Control and Restrict Management? This is my explanation.

Note: The meaning of CRM as Control and Restrict Management that I explain below is not the official definition. The meaning I explain is the meaning that is interpreted socially, psychologically, and logically. 😄

😊 In practice, some parties in the workplace, especially company owners, also interpret CRM as Control and Restrict Management.

A Simple Explanation of CRM as Control and Restrict Management 👇

⭐ In schools and classrooms, there are always teachers and principals who can see:

* Who arrives late and on time to school.
* Who has and has not completed their homework.
* What their exam scores are.
* Who has and has not passed their exams.
* Who is disciplined and complies with school rules.

CRM, which stands for Control and Restrict Management, also does something similar. All work is organized, monitored, and recorded to make it more organized.

🔒 CRM, which can be interpreted as Control and Restrict Management, is useful for:

* Tracking every interaction with customers.
* Restricting access to customer data based on roles.
* Setting who can access certain data.
* Standardizing and controlling workflows.
* Controlling, monitoring, and measuring employee work.
* Seeing who has and has not completed work.
* Recording what work has and has not been done.
* Organizing and limiting work
* Monitoring response times, sales activity, and follow-up.

In my good humor, CRM (Control and Restrict Management) can also be considered a modern attendance tool. 😅

From here, companies can determine whether CRM will be:

* A tool for collaborating with customers and building good relationships with them. 🤝

And/or

* A tool for controlling and supervising work and employees. 🔒

This is my best advice. 👇

You can improve CRM to:

* Help employees, teams, and management work smarter, more accurately, and faster.
* Grow the company and business.
* Cultivate better relationships with customers.
* Reduce repetitive tasks.
* Provide more useful and meaningful insights.
