Emergency Manager

If you work as an Emergency Manager (EM), you should have the knowledge of:

- Emergency Management Principles

- Emergency #Command Center Facility

- Information Management

- Emergencies that could occur (Type A – major emergencies that are easy to control if managed appropriately, Type B – major emergencies that can escalate if not controlled, Type C – major uncontrollable emergencies leading to full evacuation of the facility)

- Taking appropriate action when extreme #weather occurs

- Assisting the Emergency #Management Team (EMT) in an #emergency

- Dealing with victims, injured personnel, stressed personnel & missing personnel

- Maintaining & providing #evacuation places, gathering points & temporary shelters

- Keeping important facilities from being lost

Confined Space Entrant And Attendant

Everyone working in Confined Space must have the knowledge & skills needed to enable them to work properly & safely. They must have the knowledge of:

- Confined Space Regulations

- Procedures for working safely in Confined Space

- The work they have to do according to the "Permit to Work" they have obtained

- The dangers inside the Confined Space, including atmospheric hazards

- Physical hazards that may occur to them

- Equipment they must use when they enter & exit Confined Space ( #PPE, SCBA, communication equipment & more)

- #Ventilation equipment

The workers in Confined Space must have the ability to:

- Protect their breathing & body with proper equipment (SCBA, Group E Harness & others)

- Implement the right strategy to enter & exit Confined Space safely using Tripod, Davit, rope & more

- Communicate with the right equipment

- Detect #gas with #Portable equipment

- Control physical hazards & atmospheric hazards

- Take appropriate action when an #emergency occurs in a Confined Space, including to save yourself & other workers
