Elon Musk And Twitter

Elon Musk, with his $250 billion richness, after becoming a major shareholder, has bought Twitter Inc. for $44 billion. Elon Musk had been planning to own Twitter since early 2017. Once owned by Elon Musk, Twitter will turn into a Private Company.

Twitter is a social network that Elon Musk loves. He was born on Twitter in June 2010. He has more than 80 million followers on Twitter. He regularly tweets on Twitter as many as hundreds of tweets. He uses Twitter to voice the things he loves: memes, his companies, his businesses, culture & more.

Elon Musk's ease of buying Twitter may have been due to his good relationship with Jack Dorsey – Co-founder of Twitter. They have many of the same plans for Twitter, including the Algorithms on Twitter to be more transparent and open-source. Jack also believes that Elon Musk as the new owner of Twitter will serve the best interests of Twitter as a company and all Twitter shareholders.

In 2019, Jack Dorsey said: “I love him (Elon Musk). I love what he's trying to do, and I want to help him in whatever way.”

One of Elon Musk's goals for owning Twitter is to support Free Speech. He believes that Twitter is the most appropriate place for people to speak freely within the confines of the law.

Elon Musk has promised that he will be involved and working on Twitter.

Other facts about Elon Musk:
- Elon Musk prefers to stay away from politics
- Elon Musk is a major donor to the American Civil Liberties Union
- Elon Musk is already using Twitter as a powerful marketing engine for his companies

Helicopter Landing Officer

Some of the most common incidents on Helicopters & Helideck:
- The engine on the Helicopter is broken
- Fire broke out in Helicopter & Helideck
- Emergencies that occur on the Helicopter & Helideck due to the presence of dangerous goods

Therefore, a Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) is urgently needed to:
- Supervise Helicopter landing preparations
- Oversee cargo handling including coordinating shipment preparation
- Supervise the Helicopter refueling process including refuel preparation & refueling stops
- Supervise the loading & unloading of baggage & delivery activities safely
- Monitor safe passenger egress & access on Helideck
- Supervise the process of entering & exiting passengers to & from the Helicopter
- Prepare & handle goods (including dangerous goods) & baggage properly following applicable regulations
- Supervise Helicopter departure preparations
- Respond to alarms
- Prepare to enter the incident area
- Enter the incident area & work safely
- Control the personnel rescue
- Control the fire fighting operations
- Control the non-firefighting operations

HLO can also prevent fires in Helicopters & Helidecks by handling the refueling process. Some of the things that HLO does are:
- Preparing the Helicopter before the refueling process is carried out
- Preparing the process of refueling the Helicopter safely
- Checking the fuel, including its quality
- Safely starting refueling equipment
- Refueling safely
- Ensuring that Firefighters are always on standby
- Maintaining all tools used for refueling

Control Room Operator

When an emergency occurs, the Control Room Operators (CRO) will receive incoming information & serve incoming calls via telephone & several other communication tools (Headset, Radio, Computer & others). They are responsible for:
- Handling incoming emergency calls & prioritizing them
- Receiving the information provided by the caller
- Assessing whether the information is urgent or not
- Deciding the best action to take
- Guiding & directing the Emergency Service Team to deal with incidents that occur
- Staying in touch with the team on the scene to get information about the situation
- Ensuring that the safety of employees is maintained
- Ensuring that the team at the scene takes appropriate actions according to the approved plans & procedures
- Cooperating with Safety Officers, Security Officers, Fire Teams, Paramedics & various appropriate parties

Some CROs also work for:
- Monitoring company operations
- Ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
- Controlling all workers

Some companies also divide the role of CRO into 2 parts: one part to receive incoming calls & another part to send Emergency Services Team.

Workplace Fire Safety

A fact that we cannot deny is that any workplace can be exposed to fire. Therefore, all workplaces must have preventive measures & procedures to deal with the fires that occur.

Some things to do to prevent fires from happening in the workplace:
- The workplace must always be clean & cleaned of various combustible materials
- All items in the workplace must be stored safely & away from fire
- All machines, cables & electrical equipment must always be checked, tested & controlled
- All machines & equipment, especially electrical equipment, which is damaged must be repaired immediately
- The workplace must prevent heat & sparks
- Chemicals, especially flammable ones, must be stored safely
- The workplace should avoid the use of flammable tools where employees work
- Appropriate fire fighting equipment should be placed behind desks, emergency stairs, near machines & all areas of the workplace
- Smoke Detectors & Alarms must be installed throughout the building & tested regularly
- Batteries in Smoke Detectors & Alarms must be replaced annually
- Employees must have the ability to use Fire Extinguishers

The employees who know the best action in an emergency can help prevent major disasters & unnecessary loss of life & infrastructure, so all employees must be given the ability to deal with fires in the workplace by taking proper & regular training.

High Pressure High Temperature - Oil And Gas Industry

The definition of High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) is:
- High-pressure wells have a pressure greater than 15,000 psi (103 Mpa)
- High-temperature wells have a temperature above 177 degrees Celsius

Some of the conditions that occur when HPHT Operation is performed:
- Because the Bottom Hole is located close to the Geothermal Hotspot, the temperature under the Hole quickly increases
- Steam injection used to help produce heavy oil can greatly increase the bottom hole temperature
- Deepwater wells can have high pressure & temperature due to the Geothermal Gradient
- Wells drilled with oil-based mud systems tend to have higher downhole temperatures

Various things that should be done so that HPHT Operation can be carried out safely:
- Drillers must predict pore pressures before drilling into the formation
- Engineers have to calculate pressure using Hydrostatic Gradient-based on the weight of seawater
- To reduce the effect of high pressure, Engineers focus on metallurgy & sealing
- For Well Operation to be carried out safely, Engineers must use proper equipment
- To ensure that the equipment used is the right one, Operators must first know the maximum pressure potential
- To ensure that operation can be carried out safely, the equipment must be functionally tested before use
- To prevent formation fluids from entering the wellbore during drilling, Engineers use weighted drilling fluids
- Drilling fluid can be cooled before being circulated down the hole to protect sensitive BHA components
- Hydrostatic pressures higher than those predicted by the Normal Pressure Gradient are often required to overcome reservoir pore pressures

Some of the emergencies that usually occur when the HPHT Operation is performed:
- Lost time
- Broken equipment
- Injured personnel

The personnel who work in HPHT need the right knowledge & skills, special equipment & regular training.
