Offshore Personnel must have the ability to survive at sea so that they can always be ready to deal with #emergency that occurs at sea. They also have to be able to save their lives & others.

Offshore Personnel must have the knowledge of:
- Psychology of survival at sea
- Strategies to care for themselves & others
- Strategies to maintain safety
- Survival & #life saver equipment
- Techniques to save themselves & others

Offshore Personnel must have the ability to:
- Survive in the #sea
- Use safety equipment (#PPE, breathing apparatus, nets & more)
- Form a group that can help each other to save themselves & #survive
- Perform the correct technique to #save themselves (lifting, jumping & more)
- Transfer personnel
- Use & repair #Lifeboat

Offshore Installation Manager And Incident Manager

Offshore Installation Managers & Incident Managers are personnel & managers who work in Offshore Installations & have the duty to supervise installations & control incidents & emergencies that occur at Offshore Installations. They must have the knowledge of:
- Tasks to be performed by the #Emergency Management Team (EMT) & #Crisis #Management Team (CMT)
- Incidents that can occur in #well, such as explosions, #fire & more
- Incidents that can occur in pipes, #Helicopter & more
- Collision or wave damage causing structural collapse
- Incidents that can occur in Floating Installations, such as loss of stability & others

Offshore #Installation Managers & #Incident Managers should also have the ability to:
- Assess the situation & take effective action
- Communicate

Confined Space Entry And Rescue




The personnel assigned to rescue workers affected by incidents & accidents in Confined Space need proper knowledge, skills & abilities to carry out rescue actions safely & effectively. Some must-have knowledge is about:
- Confined Space Rules
- Procedures for working safely in Confined Space
- Techniques for making precise plans so they can safely #rescue the workers in Confined Space
- #Ventilation process & equipment
- Equipment that must be used to enter the Confined Space & pick up the workers from the Confined Space
- Physical hazard
- Atmospheric hazard

Some of the capabilities that must be possessed by these personnel are the ability to:
- Get "Permit to Work" before entering the Confined Space
- Protect breathing with proper equipment (#SCBA & others)
- Enter & exit Confined Space using proper equipment (#Tripod, #Davit, rope & more)
- Communicate with related parties
- Detect #gas with Portable equipment

Emergency Manager

If you work as an Emergency Manager (EM), you should have the knowledge of:
- Emergency Management Principles
- Emergency #Command Center Facility
- Information Management
- Emergencies that could occur (Type A – major emergencies that are easy to control if managed appropriately, Type B – major emergencies that can escalate if not controlled, Type C – major uncontrollable emergencies leading to full evacuation of the facility)

The workers in Confined Space must have the ability to:
- Protect their breathing & body with proper equipment (SCBA, Group E Harness & others)
- Implement the right strategy to enter & exit Confined Space safely using Tripod, Davit, rope & more
- Communicate with the right equipment
- Detect #gas with #Portable equipment
- Control physical hazards & atmospheric hazards
- Take appropriate action when an #emergency occurs in a Confined Space, including to save yourself & other workers
