Confined Space Rescue

Confined Space Rescue is the act of rescuing the victims trapped in Confined Spaces (basements, storage tanks, sewers & more).

Some of the obstacles that exist when the rescue process is carried out in a Confined Space:

- Lack of oxygen

- Lack of light

- Presence of hazardous materials in the form of liquid & gas

Some consequences to watch out for when an emergency occurs in a Confined Space:

- Brain damage

- Dead

One of the rescue actions that the Rescue Team has to do at the start is that they have to emit harmful gases & put fresh air into the space.

The workers in the Confined Space are advised to be able to save themselves without waiting for the Rescue Team to enter the Confined Space & save them. They can save themselves with safety ropes mounted on poles.

When rescuing victims, the Rescue Team must use:

- PPE

- SCBA

- Helmet

- Seatbelt
