The Rescue Craft Coxswains & other crew working on Offshore Installations should have the knowledge of:
- Type of the Rescue Craft to use
- Equipment used on the Rescue Craft
- Patterns to search for places experiencing an emergency
They must also have the ability to:
- Ensure that the Rescue Craft is always available
- Pick up, prepare & operate the Rescue Craft
- Direct the Rescue Craft to dangerous places
- Communicate about #emergency situations that are being faced by using the Radio
- Use #Compass
- Handle passengers & victims
- Take action to #save the victims who fall into the #sea
- Take action to bring out the victims from the #Rescue Craft
- Conduct First #Aid
